things you need to know about today@

warning, this may be hazardous to your health! The first thing you need to know about today@ is that it contains content deemed inappropriate by the majority of America. This includes, but is not limited to, pornography, smut, gore and death. I try to give clues and ratings to help you decide what you want to look at, but when it comes down to it, what you click on is your problem. Feel free to send me hate mail, I get a kick out of that, but please don't sue me or anything. I am just trying to have a good time here and I'd hate for one person to ruin it for the rest of us. but there is help
Like I said, I do what I can to help you decide what to click on around here. So you need to know that the little red '@' sign to the left is your friend. It may not look like much, but putting your mouse over it is good for your health. Holding your mouse over it for a second or two will bring up the Today@ Content Guide (tm) which should help you decide what to do with a given piece of content. Amongst other things, it contains who submitted the content, what it is rated, and what type of content it is. It may also give a description of why it is rated what it is rated. Use this and click smartly!
where do you want this link to go today? Today@ lets you decide whether links pop up in their own windows or not (thanks Rajiv!). In the upper right hand corner is a small checkbox that says 'links open new windows'. Leaving this unchecked will open any links from the page in the same browser window. Checking it will open links in new browser windows. The choice is yours! |
