the blurb | garrett's ramblings Python, which I've long been a fan of, has started to catch on like wildfire at my firm. It seems like the time has come where such languages have matured enough to make real dents in spaces normally covered by Java. Personally I am still stymied by the lack of what I deem to be a decent frontend technology for python. For example, I installed Spyder IDE on my Mac at Jay's recommendation and it was no shorter than a six step process (install Qt, ugh).
