the blurb | garrett's ramblings I believe there is a natural progression for photographers: first, you're not really sure what you're doing, so you randomly snap a moderate number of pics. Then as you improve you get some good shots, but you don't quite realize why, so you shoot a ton of pictures and let statistics work in your favor. Finally you start to see good pictures in your mind before you shoot them and you don't take pictures unless there's something there.
