the blurb | garrett's ramblings Getting back into photography has done a good job of curbing my other addictions, namely poker. I had a few people over last night to make sure I still had it, but otherwise I've been clean for a while now. Last weekend I got to give the 300mm zoom a workout in the park. It's a great lens, but I didn't get any great shots, mostly because I'm an idiot and didn't have the image stabilization turned on. This shot is close to good, but it's a little over-exposed and the bird is blurry. Also, it's weird, it looks a lot better in photoshop and lightroom than as it is, I have to figure out why.
